The Fun Age!

This is the fun age! 6 months! The start of their mischievous behavior and the curiosity rolled up into one little pinchable bundle of joy! I can't get enough of my baby cakes! That curly hair those bright baby blues! Yup, we make some adorable babies! Ok, nuff said!

~On Saturday we had a Women's Brunch at church the topic was Trust in the Lord and the there was a poem read that totally touched my heart~

Having Faith!

I have faith in the Lord! I have faith in what he has planned for me....but patience is NOT a quality of mine! Well, i took a leap of faith several weeks ago, starting a new position....The Lord layed it out for me so perfectly, that there was no way i could veer off track, my eyes were set 'looking up' as i walked the path with every confidence and faith of where i was walking. But now that i am here in this new place i find myself wondering why?! The people here are MEAN! No manners, not polite (except for a few) but I'm just dumb-founded by this! And i keep thinking, why i ever left...but then i think - because it was set for me to do....So i am prayerful EVERYDAY, EVERY MORNING, so i may have the strength to deal with difficult people because i know there is a reason my Lord has directed me this way! So i will try my very hardest to keep a positive attitude and avoid the meanies and turn away from the drama and the gossip. I think this is (how you say) a trial? :) I hope i pass! Or I'm just going to go CRAZY!

Labor Day?

LABOR day, really, who does't do any labor on their day off!? Well, at least my husband and my brother in law didn't....they played Madden 08 MOST of the day....So 'the girls' decided to be productive and get some craft projects done. Here are a couple we completed (this included going to Lowes and shopping for cute stuff....yes, you can buy cute stuff at LOWES!)

Soccer Season has started! These girls keep us BUSY! Between practices twice a week and games EVERY Saturday from now until Nov. 11th, Girl Scouts and midweek Awana! I'm gonna have my Fall season cut out for me! Poor little AIT, she's just going to be a piece of luggage this fall! :)



TA (#5 in the photo)has graduated this year to a bigger playing field and this year they actually have to know their positions on the field, so there isn't a big group of girls chasing the soccer ball!

(yes, daddy is the Ref too!)






For my little SA, this is her first year and she is excited for the whole season! And looks forward to all her practices and games! She does pretty well for her first time....she was able to get the ball a couple of times and isn't too afraid of it, or afraid of someone kicking her for that matter.



But she is still my little drama on the playing field very theatrical! (although the first time she fell on her bum she got right back up and continued running after the ball! But i can't say the same about the second time she fell.)

She was just pretty tired by this point!

And i have to include a picture of my little AIT...my HAPPY little piece of luggage i tote around with me! Yup, she's hot and bored!

So glad its the WEEKEND!

So i started...WORK! I was thrown so much info that my brain needs a rest....I need a rest. There is A LOT of stuff to remember, policies, procedures, etc. but you have to understand the last time i got a book full of policies and procedures is when i worked at Disneyland....about 10-11 years ago! And to get it all thrown at me at once is overwhelming! But this industy seems exciting and challenging at the same time, i think i'll like it and for the time being i don't think i have a choice!! :) BUT nevertheless, I am very thankful not only for this opportunity but also thankful its the weekend and particularly this weekend because there is no soccer games!! I can lounge and just veg out at home so i can work on some vinyl signs for the church boutique on the 27th, not to mention the dreaded LAUNDRY! My continuous mountains!!!

The Green Mile

Well today was my last day of my 8 year long position at Clotworthy.....Giving my two weeks was the hardest thing i've ever had to do! Although the two weeks went fast...today was really slow going. Saying goodbye was the other hard task i was going to have to get thru....that although i was frustrated and unappreciated there, it was still hard to leave because deep down i know they enjoyed working with me as much as i enjoyed working with them! But there were many factors for leaving....driving, time, being far from home and family and GAS!
As the day progressed i started pealing away at my pictures on my desk thinking of ALL the old times....8 years of accumulated memories, some good, some funny, and some bad--but like everthing, you get thru it!

Today everyone was genuinely disappointed about my leave ( got some really cute 'miss you' cards) and lots of big hugs! I walked out of my office for the last time....but not without my very last prank!!!!!

So i had to get over this emotional stuff right! Well as i was cleaning up, I found a bottle i was saving of silly string!! I was upset that there was no one in the office i could shoot! So i decided to head on to the party supply store and buy more! (heck, one bottle wasn't going to be enough for 8 desks!) So not only did i buy 3 bottles of silly string, i bought confetti, and 5 bags of stringy colored strands! (THEY ARE SO GONNA HATE ME ON MONDAY!)
So i really hit my direct supervisor's desk the hardest....Silly string all over the cubicle, confetti all over the desk, keyboard, files, drawers, chair and the stringy strands on the cube walls, desk, chair, computer, files.....OH YA it was a colorful MESS!
I also 'decorated' both my bosses desks! Silly String, Stringy Strands and confetti! Everyone else got a little bit of the stringy strands and the confetti. Then when i used up ALL the 'decorations' --- I printed a sign for each desk saying.... I'll MISS YOU GUYS!!! LOVE YA, G.

So do you think that'll make them less angry?!?! (and for anyone that doesn't know my office, this isn't the first time i've or anyone else has done this, our office is notorious for pranks!)

(SIGH) I don't know about you....but i felt MUCH BETTER after that! :) I just wish i would have taken my CAMERA!

I wonder if they'll call me on Monday to say they miss me too?!?!?! Muahahahaha!

Saturday - Harvest/TailGate Party

Went to the Harvest @ Angel Stadium --My first time. The music was great! The message was even better! Loved it! And got a New Bible too!

5 MONTHS....Already!?!?!?!

My little AIT (actress in training) is 5 months! Awww...the time has flown by! boo hoo! You know when you are a kid and young adult the time just goes by slow sometimes VERY slow...Even with my first two kids, i felt like a good portion of time had passed! But now with my third, the time is just flying by! Even when i was pregnant (lucky me, right?) my pregnancy flew by! Boo Hoo my BABY is 5 months today!

Water Park

I had never been to a water park until today!! (probably because of how i look in a bathing suit! :)) Anyhow, IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! My husband, my sister, my brother in law and my daughter(LA--Leading actress) and I all went to Wild Rivers! I laughed so hard! The best were --The Cobras, Congo River Rapids (i rode that with my sister on the double tubes....and lets just say we hit the bumps a little harder because of our junk in the trunk! Which just made us laugh SO HARD!), The Abyss, Patriot, Surf Hill, Chaos, and Bazooka Bowls. And let me just say any girls that may go anytime soon or next summer....board shorts and a tankini are definetly the way to go....at the end of most every ride, us girls were constantly getting the MURFS out of our butts! Seriously! didn't matter what we did or tried to do....it was always there! So next time Board shorts and a tankini!!! But besides that we had a great time! Sorry no pictures!

Mucho MUSH!!

AIT is now eating baby mush!!! YAY! I wonder if that'll help have her sleep thru the night! Since she is in her own room now, now i have to physically get UP out of bed and tend to my little chillin! I'm hoping, praying this will work....Wishful thinking? But of coarse now...soon will be the dreaded breaking of the gums to make way for those pesky baby teeth! Time to stock up on the Tylenol & Origel!!

She doesn't know what to make of this mush mommy is shoving in her mouth! (now that i'm looking at the picture...i sure am a brave mommy, NO BIB!!)

The Crafty Side

Well since my maternity leave, i've been a little more creative/crafty/determined (yes all of the above!) to start sewing and coming up with new things...since then i've sewn dress for my girls, started on a quilt, made curtains and still have material left over to CONTINUE!! Plus, it does help that Joann's just so happened to have a SALE on fabric!!!Another little item i started while on maternity leave was vinyl!! I LOVE IT!! My sister in law started her own and I couldn't get over how many things you could do with it and how good it looked! So when i saw a Cricut Expressions selling on ebay....i had to bid on it! I got it for a STEAL and now started making my own signs, designs etc! And of coarse adding to my investment! This is just one of the items i've made so far...i gotta get going because i registered to have these designs up at a womens boutique at church in September. I'm so excited!

But now school is starting and so is the soccer season...so i'll have to squeeze time in where i can!

New Kid on the Blog

So after much thought and much surfing....i decided to make my own blog!



Well where to start.....As you may know we had a room conversion--from a loft to a nursery for our AIT (Actress in Training). I designed and completed the room (with some painting help from my mom). The inspiration came form Wendy Bellisimo but this creation is all mine!
