This is becoming a habit!! In all honesty just busy!! Well apparently I started to blog but never finished! Surprise, surprise!! Well in April of 2011 after much prayer the Lord revealed to me that I need to homeschool my kids! On a weekday morning while I was mopping my kitchen floor and tuning in to a pastor on KSGN talking about end times and how 50 years ago no one, especially a pastor would have talked about end times as they do now. He was also talking about prophecy and how certain prophecies have already come to pass...at that very moment a voice like no other spoke to me (Yes as I was mopping) saying, your kids will not have enough time to find me as you and Bryan did. And that repeated and repeated over and over! How could I not OBEY!! We thought...being silly humans...how the heck were we going to pay for curriculums for 3 kids!! New curriculums for 3 kids could run in the 1000's, but DUH! Silly us, we forget how faithful God is to us! He provided so many avenues and great people in our path to lead us to cheap and even FREE curriculum and resources! If He brings you to it, He will bring you through it!
I had started the foot work on Homeschool in April and by August we had started!!! The kids love it! I love it! I get quality time with each one of my babies! And the opportunity to teach them God's word and apply it!
So now fast forward to now...February 3rd...we are in full sing and there have been some challenges and difficulties (of course the enemy not wanting us to continue the work we are doing)but with God's grace and CONSTANTLY SEEKING HIM we have pulled through and continuning to move forward!!
The next challenge and for the next 11 months we have our little caveman, Mr. Grunter himself is finally approved to go to speech classes. The challenging part is the 'classroom' i need to take him to is 30 minutes away from home, I need to take him 3 days a week for 3 hours a day...and only morning classes (9am). Normally, i would not complain but this is 30 minutes away and in prime traffic that means everyone UP and going and out the door at least by 8am not to mention the school is not in the best of areas...so the park is definitely OUT of the question.
I am looking into local libraries so I can school the rest of the crew for the 3 hours while my caveman learns to speak! :)
Besides that my first report card is due! LOL!! Its still so weird to me!
